a. Abstract:
i. “Automation and customization are important elements to consider when administering a GIS project. Within a GIS production environment, automation may reduce the time and steps to complete a particular task, while existing GIS functions may also be made more accessible by creating custom tools. This presentation will focus on the ESRI ArcGIS 10 desktop environment in introducing the following topics; overview of scripting, introduction to ArcPy, and working with Add-Ins.”
